are three series available; solid carbide fine pitch gear hobs, carbide gear hobs for
skiving hardened teeth and carbide gear hobs for high speed hobbing. They won the prizes of science and technology progress awards by national, ministerial or provincial authority. As far as solid carbide mediuIn/fine pitch gear hobs are concerned, their hardness can reach HRA 9l.5, mainly for various metal or non-metal gears. Hob accuracy:AAA,AA and A, hob module range: M0.1l - M2.54. Carbide-tipped gear hobs for skiving hardened teeth can be used for the machining of hardened teeth, with gear accuracy of grade 7-8. Module range: M1-M12, hob accuracy:AA,A. As far as carbide tipped gear hobs for high speed hobbing are concerned, 140-250m/min cutting speed is usually selected in machining alloy steel, carbon cast iron and non-metal gears. Hob module range:0.8-4, accuracy grade: AA,A,B. |
